| On the 24th February 2009 the team leader Mohammad Merdjanic invited the Red Cross representative to the radio station as a special guest to accept a cheque for over $5,000 representing funds raised from listeners to assist the victims of the horrific Victorian Bushfires tragedy (pictured above). |

Membership elects new Council of Management at 2011 AGM

The Multicultural Radio & Television Association of WA Inc. celebrated another successful year of community radio broadcasting on the 23/10/2011 at its Maylands Annexe where the Annual General Meeting was held. We thank our members for taking the time to attend this very important AGM and for the overwhelming show of support given to the Chairman Nikola Nikolich J.P. for his many years of service to the Association and to the outgoing Council for its transparency and accountability.
