Hello Dear Fellow Listeners,
You may be interested to know more about me. My name is Ludvik Jedla and I came to Australia when we immigrated from communist Czecholsovakia in 1980. I came here with my family, my wife Marcela and our two children
Vladimir and Katerina.
We built our new lives here and we are very happy.
Many years went by and I decided to do something really special for the Czech community in Western Australia.
One Sunday morning I had the thought of broadcasting to all Czechs in WA.
I then started up a broadcasting program with no background or understanding of radio presenting or financial help.
And even though the first programs reflected this my close friends and family
encouraged me by saying 'Ludvik, don't worry yourself, practice will make things better' - and they were right.
The Czech & Friends radio program began on the 4th of April 2005 for the first time ever. This being the same day as my late mothers birthday, which made it extra special for me.
It is now over two years since the start of the radio program and it is continuing to be enjoyed by many in Western Australia while at the same time creating a large support base from many parts of the Czech community.
The radio program is one hour long every Monday 3.30 - 4.30 pm West Australian time, on World Radio 6EBA 95.3FM.
With my progam, I have the help from my wonderful wife and also my close friend Karel Mendlik, who I thank for his continued support. Without their help, the program would not be possible. Also of great help are Jiri and Maruska Lochman and Milan and Ivanka Udal, who provide their support and ideas.
Our program is non-political, and concentrates on the beautiful things in life like songs, readings of legends from our Czech culture as well as humour.
This radio station and this program have recently been added to INTERNET broadcasting, making it now possible for anyone anywhere in the world to tune in. The program is supported by the Czech Government for which we all are very grateful.
And now I wish you all a happy and uninterupted listening.

se svou rodinou, manzelkou marcelkou a s dvema detmi vladimirem a katerinkou. nasly jsme tu novy domov a jsme tu spokojeny.
leta utikala a tak jsem se rozhodl udelat neco velkyho a krasnyho pro
nase krajany v zapadni australii. jednoho krasneho nedelniho rana me napadla
myslenka zaloz v meste Pertu rozhlasove vysilani.
zacal jsem z vysilanim sam bez jake koliv repoterske znalosti a financni pomoci. taky ty prvni vysilani to dokazovaly a moji pratele kterych je dost me rikaly ludviku nevzdavej se hlavu vzhuru uvidis ze se to naucis a mely pravdu
radiove vysilani zaclo 4-dubna roku 2005 akurak na narozeniny my zesnuly maminky.
dnes uz je tomu 2 a ctrvt roku co radio exsistuje a je v oblibe posluchacu v zapadni australi.
vysilani trva 1-hodinu kazde pondeli od 3:30 - 4:30 hodin odpoledne zapado-austraskeho casu na radiovych vlnach- 6eba-95.3-fm word radio.
pri vysilani me pomaha moje draha manzelka a hlavne vyborny kamarad.
a pritel karel medlik moc jim dekuji ze to se mnou vydrzi. bez jejich pomoci
by vysilani nebylo mozne. a manzele jiri a maruska lochmanovy a mila ivanka udalova nam pomahaji z napadama dekuji vsem za pomoc.
nase vysilani je bez polityky to nechvame politikum zameruje me se na krasne pisnicky, ctenim z knihy legendy a povesti koruny zeme ceske. a karel medlik se zameruje na slavne osobnosti ceskeho naroda. ale i take na humor je tomu par tydnu co zacalo internetove vysilani 21-rijna roku 2007.
tak ze ho muze poslouchat kdokoliv a kdekoliv rozhlasove vysilani nyni financuje ceska vlada moc a moc jim dekujeme se svymi spolupracovniky a vsemi posluchaci.
no a ted uz vam jen preji prijemny a neruseny poslech

AGM 2009 elects New Management Council

The Multicultural Radio & Television Association of WA Inc. held its Annual General Meeting this year on the 18th October 2009. The venue was the Floreat Athena Soccer Club where over 100 members, their guests and friends attended the meeting, followed by a luncheon prepared by the Club's chef Mr. Peter Kalogeracos allowing members to socialize, relax and catch up.

The Australian Albanian Society of Perth Inc. hit the air waves with their first program this Friday 11th September 2009. The Association incorporated in June 2007 with a registered office in Dianella aims to bring the Albanian Community together, assist people to find work, housing and maintain its culture by promoting regular family gatherings with a particular focus on assisting its older citizens.

The "Sikh Sangeet" program is run by volunteers from the Sikh Association of WA Inc. Heading up a team 7 volunteers is Mr.Amrit Pal Singh who is the Senior Producer. The program goes to air every Thursday 7am. The language is Panjabi. Why not tune in to 6EBA-FM 95.3 World Radio and be entertained too?
