Perth Hungarian Radio

Monday 6:30 - 7:30pm (Hétfő este 6.30 -7.30-ig)

The Hungarian Program has been produced by Irene Szabo since 1991. The program consists of news from Hungary, local news, announcements of  up and coming events within our Hungarian Community, commemorations of special anniversaries, general topics and music.



Andrew Nattan co-producer, announcer and panel operator joined the radio around 2001 and proved to be a valuable assistant.



Ildikó Fejes has been a recent addition to the team, She lives in Hungary and via email regularly supplies us with the latest news from Hungary.




Irene Szigligeti

Announcer, and assistant producer joined the team in1997 and has been very helpful in every way.

Maria Szalai, panel operator, occasional announcer has been a member of the team since 1993. She has been very active for years, but lately due to family commitments helps out only in emergencies.

Mary Szabo, panel operator, became involved with the radio program in 2003 and apart from studio work is very helpful at fund raising functions.

McNair Ingenuity say 57% of Australians listen to Community Radio !

The McNair Ingenuity Community Radio Listenership Survey results were released earlier this month at Parliament House and showed an increase from 47% of Australians (aged 15+) listening to community radio every month in 2006, to 57% in 2008

Rotary Group Study Exchange Student visits 6EBA !

During late October, we were lucky enough to have Niki Cleary visit the 6EBA studios. Niki is taking part in the Rotary Group Study Exchange which sees people from different cultures and countries meet up with others in their profession whilst developing professional and leadership skills and travelling the world.
