Kosta Kalantzis

Kosta has been involved in radio as a volunteer from the ripe young age of 17 when he walked into the studios as a very shy and embarrassed individual. This has all changed with the help of others, and at 21 he has developed into a quality producer and broadcaster coupled with an outgoing personality. He has been involved with many youth orientated programs in his time and will continue to do so in the future.
Kosta’s sport orientated background and studies in the area of Sports Science have been put to good use at 6EBA in the past, were they helped him produce a Health and Fitness program with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle for its audience. He endeavours in bringing that program back onto the airways in the near future together with forming close ties with sport governing bodies, sporting teams and fitness professionals to help promote 6EBA in a different way.
Passion for music comes naturally for Kosta who spends most of his weekends Dj-ing at various community events and locations around Perth.
His strong community ties have also helped him gain great contacts form various organisations, which he can and has used towards the station best interest.
As the recently appointed Project Officer/Trainer based in the Maylands studio Kosta looks forward to working on a wide variety of projects in the New Year. These projects can only be successful with the help of the community. He will also be responsible for attending to the daily needs of our ever increasing number of broadcasters as well as working together with Dani Simpson in coordinating programs.
If you would like to discuss sponsorship, cross promotion, live outside broadcasts from your event or school, programming, broadcast workshops or anything relating to the 6EBA in Maylands please feel free to contact Kosta by email kosta@6eba.com.au or call 9371 3325.
