The Tigrean's are one of the New & Emerging African Communities from Ethiopia. The radio program has been on air since February 2006 with a dedicated team of young people who produce and take their show to air every Tuesday commencing 6pm for one hour.
The team represent members of the Ethiopian community in Perth and speak Tigrigna, Amharic and Oromo with the younger ones speaking both their own language and English on th program.

The McNair Ingenuity Community Radio Listenership Survey results were released earlier this month at Parliament House and showed an increase from 47% of Australians (aged 15+) listening to community radio every month in 2006, to 57% in 2008

During late October, we were lucky enough to have Niki Cleary visit the 6EBA studios. Niki is taking part in the Rotary Group Study Exchange which sees people from different cultures and countries meet up with others in their profession whilst developing professional and leadership skills and travelling the world.
