Meet the team:
Imam Burhan Selim, Huseyin Aksakal

The Turkish Islamic program is produced by Imam Burhan Selim from the Turkish Islamic Association of Canning. The program has been on air here at 6EBA for many years. Burhan a recent arrival in Australia is very active in his community and is to be congratulated for his strength of character and persistence to learn English amongst other things and to assimmilate in to the Australian way of life in such a short period of time. The Imam always is happy and cheerful with us at the station, and we are sure he thoroughly enjoys doing the program.

McNair Ingenuity say 57% of Australians listen to Community Radio !

The McNair Ingenuity Community Radio Listenership Survey results were released earlier this month at Parliament House and showed an increase from 47% of Australians (aged 15+) listening to community radio every month in 2006, to 57% in 2008

Rotary Group Study Exchange Student visits 6EBA !

During late October, we were lucky enough to have Niki Cleary visit the 6EBA studios. Niki is taking part in the Rotary Group Study Exchange which sees people from different cultures and countries meet up with others in their profession whilst developing professional and leadership skills and travelling the world.
