6EBA North Perth gets a new Studio !

2007-06-15 09:53:24 WST
By Helen Nikolich

After some serious planning for the future development of 6EBA-FM in North Perth a proposal was analysed by our Management Council, and luckily they agreed to go ahead with the plan to convert our current Production Studio into a second on-air studio, and build our broadcasters a brand new Production Studio

Our long serving highly dedicated and believe it or not hard working Engineer Geoff Rowley has really had to pull rabbits out of his hat and put his expert knowledge to work to design us a brand new Production Studio.

After a couple of weeks stripping out old outdated equipment and desks the building commenced. As you can see in the photo above we now have a studio full of beautiful new equipment giving a new home to our broadcasters who can put to good use their creativity and radio skills doing what they do best, that being making radio programs.

There are a few things yet to be completed but we hope that the studio will be on line very shortly.

Thanks to all who have contributed to this wonderful new facility !
