Harmony Week 2007 saw 6EBA-FM involved in two events to support this important week in the calendar for Perth’s only full-time ethnic station.

It was a tapestry of sound and guests on Sunday the 18th of March when 6EBA-FM broadcasted live from Connect @ Hyde Park.

The Macedonian Community program was lucky enough to have two famous participants in the day take part in the program, Town of Vincent Mayor, Nick Catania and Minister for Multicultural Interests and Citizenship, Ljljana Ravlich.

Also broadcasting from the park was the Hellenic Radio, Greek Orthodox Radio followed by the Dutch community program which had a spectacular visit by the fully costumed Dutch choir. Also enjoying the sunshine of the outside broadcast and the sights and sounds of the festival was the Burmese program.

Olivia Holmes from 6EBA-FM jumped behind the desk intermittently through out the day to interview various guests of the Connect festival. First was John Hyde MLA, then Dennis Lugor from the Bari Community Singers of South Sudan and o Master Jorge Draga and Master Goioere, both Brazilian Capoeira champions
