Soheir Khalil-Kaldas was born in Alexandria-Egypt and she arrived to Perth Western Australia in March 1971, she commenced at 6eba 95.3 FM world radio as a volunteer during 1996 helping the Middle East Program as a console operator/Presenter.

Soheir joined Joe Kaldas for the Middle East Program and they have been working together since. After that Soheir has her own program Voice of Egypt on Friday from 1.30PM to 2.30PM.
